Bukujanji Organizer Guidelines

Version: 1.1.0 Effective Date: 16 May 2026

1. Purpose of These Guidelines

Bukujanji connects thousands of participants with hundreds of organizers and class instructors across Indonesia. To keep the Platform safe, inclusive, and trustworthy, every user — Participant, Organizer Owner, Instructor, or Outlet — must follow these guidelines. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or account termination.

2. Mutual Respect

  • Treat instructors, fellow participants, and venue staff with respect.
  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination on the basis of ethnicity, religion, race, group, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or socio-economic status is prohibited (consistent with Article 156 of the Indonesian Penal Code and Article 28 of the ITE Law regarding hate speech).
  • Jokes are fine; cruelty is not.

3. Prohibited Content

Do not upload, share, or promote the following in your profile, event descriptions, photos, or reviews:

  • Pornography, explicit nudity, or sexual content targeting minors (Article 27 of the ITE Law, Law 44/2008).
  • Hate speech, incitement to violence, or physical threats.
  • Hoaxes, disinformation, or unfounded medical claims (e.g. "this class cures cancer").
  • Content infringing third-party intellectual property (uncovered song covers, stolen photos, etc.).
  • Promotion of gambling, narcotics, or other illegal activity.
  • Pyramid schemes, MLM disguised as classes, or investment fraud.

4. Physical Safety in Classes

Organizer Owners are responsible for physical safety in the classes they organise:

  • Ensure instructors hold appropriate qualifications (e.g. yoga certification, coaching licences).
  • Provide safe and well-maintained equipment.
  • Mark liabilityWaiverRequired = true for classes with significant physical risk (HIIT, kickboxing, hot yoga) and require participants to confirm a health declaration.
  • Keep a first-aid kit and a minor-injury SOP available at the venue.
  • Stop the class and call professional help if a participant shows signs of medical emergency.

Participants must honestly complete the health declaration and refrain from classes that exceed their current physical condition.

5. Minors and Guardians

  • Minors under 17 must be accompanied by a lawful guardian or have written consent submitted via the "Booking for a child" feature.
  • Organizer Owners running children's classes (sports schools, kids dance) must have staff trained to work with minors and follow child-safeguarding protocols.

6. Photos and Privacy at Events

  • Organizer Owners may take event photos/videos for documentation or marketing. Photos must not identifiably feature children without written guardian consent.
  • Participants who do not wish to be photographed must inform the Organizer Owner at check-in; the request will be honoured.
  • Recap photos uploaded to the Platform are subject to the content licence in Terms of Service §7.

7. Honest Reviews

  • Provide honest reviews based on your own experience.
  • Do not write fake reviews — positive (to boost your own organizer or friends) or negative (to harm competitors).
  • Do not include other participants' personal information in reviews.
  • Organizer Owners must not trade discounts for 5-star reviews (review-for-discount). Violations result in review removal and a warning.

8. Communication via Bukujanji

  • WhatsApp Groups and individual chats outside the Platform are your own choice; Bukujanji does not moderate them.
  • Do not use participant contacts obtained from event rosters for spam, unrelated telemarketing, or selling data to third parties (in violation of the PDP Law).
  • Event-related communication (schedule changes, reminders, follow-ups) is allowed and ideally happens through Bukujanji channels for audit clarity.

9. Anti-Fraud

Do not:

  • Create fake accounts or impersonate others.
  • Manipulate promo systems (multi-accounting, internal codes, etc.).
  • Claim to be checked in without attending the venue.
  • Commit chargeback fraud (paying then disputing the card after attending).

These violations result in permanent termination and may be reported to authorities under Article 35 of the ITE Law.

10. Reporting Violations

If you see content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines:

  • Quick way: click the "Report" icon on the relevant organizer/event/review page (feature shipped by team Y3 in v1.8).
  • Manual way: email trust@bukujanji.com with a link + screenshot + short description. Reporter identity is kept confidential unless required by legal process.

We respond to reports within 2×24 business hours. Actions may include warnings, content suspension, temporary account suspension, or permanent termination depending on severity.

11. Appeals

Users whose accounts are suspended or terminated may appeal via appeals@bukujanji.com, explaining the situation and providing supporting evidence. The appeals team reviews within 5 business days. Appeal decisions are final.

12. Updates to These Guidelines

Updates will be announced by email and on-Platform banner 14 days before effective.
